Our Projects

Our current main activities involve educating and promoting education of women who have otherwise missed the opportunity to be taught (1) health information specific to women's and children's bodies and (2) individual civil rights information that affects women and their families locally and in traditionally underserved areas of developing countries.

We plan to have several projects focusing on helping women to elevate their stature within their local community and country.  Our first local project is working with homeless, currently illegal immigrants in inner-city Denver. We do plan to bring this program to other communities within the US as funding avails.  This program includes health camps for these women and their children, educating them about safe health practices.

Specific education to target these topics: ways of preventing HIV transmission and ways of getting receiving and paying for treatment, the female reproductive cycle and how this manifests at puberty, during fertile years, and during menopause,  family planning methods, health care provider selection.

Past Projects we have been involved in include: Sex and puberty development education to girls schools in rural southern Kenya, Rural health camps in southern Kenya, Train the trainer for women’s health professionals in western India.
